Our story

From drafting for others to building for ourselves.

NESCA grew from a 2006 design practice serving North American timber builders into India's integrated timber design, manufacturing and construction group, now building an export platform for Australia.

2006 – 2016: design

P. L. Narayana founded the group's design and estimation practice in 2006 to serve timber builders in the United States and Canada. By 2016 it had scaled to 150 designers producing structural designs, truss and framing drawings and estimates for overseas builders.

2017 – today: build and make

Three years of R&D with Canadian Wood on timber systems for Indian climates led to a construction division in 2018 and the NESCA Homes brand in 2019. Zojila proved the systems at altitude in 2021. Since 2022: end-to-end design, supply, ready-frame manufacturing, construction and maintenance.

Where NESCA works from.

Manufacturing and construction run from Hyderabad. An export-oriented pre-cut timber plant is in development in Andhra Pradesh to supply the Australian market.
